All quotes are non-binding until confirmed in writing. Prices are based on factors including word count, language pair, subject matter, formatting requirements, and delivery deadline.

An order is considered accepted once written confirmation is provided by both parties.

3. Delivery and Revisions

Delivery times are agreed upon prior to project commencement. While we make every effort to meet deadlines, delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate source material are not our responsibility.

One round of reasonable revisions is included, provided the request is made within 7 days of delivery and relates to errors in the translation, not changes to the original source text.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing complete and accurate source material

• Ensuring they have the legal right to use and submit the content for translation

• Reviewing the final translation for suitability before use

We are not responsible for issues arising from unclear, incorrect, or incomplete source text.

5. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed, payment terms are stated on the invoice. Payment may be required in advance for new clients or large projects.

Late payments may result in delayed delivery or suspension of services.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

If a project is canceled after work has begun, the client agrees to pay for the portion of work completed.

Due to the nature of customized services, refunds are not provided once the translation has been delivered, except in cases of proven professional negligence.

7. Confidentiality

All client materials are treated as confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing the agreed services. We do not share client content with third parties except when required to complete the service or by law.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all intellectual property rights to the translated content are transferred to the client upon full payment.

We reserve the right to reference non-confidential projects in our portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

Marta Translates is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Website Use

The content of this website is provided for general information only. We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, completeness, or availability.

Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.

11. Governing Law
